Ha! You can be surprised at what shenanigans the monkey can get into. Children are often told not to ape their elders when the aforesaid elder does something that is not considered a good example. [Psst…since when is monkey considered a good authority anyway?] There is also the no monkeying around especially if that someone is liable to produce disturbance wherever he goes. A troupe of monkeys is also aptly put. Can’t imagine them [the monkeys] being anything else. Kind of brings the circus to mind.
