My oh my

SNOOPY says, ‘Good grief!’ and WOODSTOCK mumbles something in return. How many phrases do we use to indicate good grief! The more exasperated ones: good heavens; good gracious; great god; what on earth; mama mia; aiyoyo [Manglish version]. The louder version of it: what the hell; darn; for God’s sake and many more 4-letter words to add colour to it.

All these are used to express ‘are you out of your mind?!’ and ‘I certainly did not expect this’. The same goes for ‘my oh my’.
